Moving from the hot heat of AZ to Omaha was quite a change-- certainly REFRESHING. As we came out of the desert and headed northeast the air seemed to get cleaner and crisper... oh the things we've missed since living in AZ. Our 27hour drive was luckily broken up by us staying in Colorado with Chad's parents for a day or two before continuing onto Omaha. Our kids did well with Laine switching back in forth from the "big yellow Truck" with Daddy and our coming in our Rav with Amy and I and watching movies on my laptop. The worst part of the whole traveling was probably the trucks cap of 71mph (talk about that turtle feeling of not getting anywhere) and staring at the back of a Penske truck the whole time.
