Humid Camping

Camping in Summer in near Omaha is not far from terrible. It's so humid and there is no way to get out of it. It's still fun to get out of the house and outside, but I find myself wishing for AC majority of the time. Something that happened to us this time while we camped was a dog kept barking all night. Come to find out the tent next to us was a storage place for a bum and they had left their dog tied to a tree starving and scared. Luckily there were also boy scouts at the camp we were at and they were willing to help the dog. Lastly before we left the next day Amy stepped in dog poop and our van died to we had to ask the BoyScouts to help jump our van too. It's amazing how much the kids love camping still with so many undesirable things happening.

Wyoming 2014

This year in WY we tried to go camping, but the weather wouldn't permit. There were a few that camped in the backyard, but we decided to wait and set up our new tent back in NE later. Chad celebrated his 28th birthday and Laine and Amy sure loved that. Poor Amy is super allergic to misquotes and swelled up pretty bad this summer (picture below of bite on ankle). We also looked like a funny pregnant group with Erin, Kelli and I all pregnant this year- hopefully we'll be able to do a little more next summer without belly's. Riding in Big James and Bart's Jeeps up the mountain and through a river was a perfect way to spend time this year.  As always it was super pretty going up the mountain and hanging out for an afternoon before the storm came in. Maybe next year camping...

Back in WA with FAMILY

We love Family so much and when all the cousins on the PAXMAN side get together there is nothing but fun and excitement. My family is really good about planning out activities for us to all participate in and we have super fun times. I can't even begin to say how much we love getting together with the family especially in the summer when no one gets sick :-) Thanks for the fun times family!
