Canada 2014

 To sum up this trip in a few words- Fantastic, Cold, Tradition. This year it was so windy (75mph) the tent poles all bent/broke and we had to stay in the trailer with my parents and GrAmy. It hailed and was pretty crazy for a few days. Chad and my mom and dad still climbed bears hump and experienced crazy winds up there, while the rest of us stayed safe in the trailer and tried to see if we could see them. The days that it was nice out were so fun spending time playing games and seeing gorgeous places! We love Waterton with Family it is one of our absolute favorites!

WA Summer

We started off our summer vacation in WA and drove from there through a few prospective cities in WA to Canada and stopped in Leavenworth for fun. Thanks to my Dad who drove the whole way while towing a trailer. Also to my mom who sat in the very back with Laine while GrAMY and Amy and I took up the middle row. 

4th of July

The 4th of July was super fun! The Short's (Clarke, Jessica, Nora, Rafferty) had a neighborhood get together and it was off the Charts with Awesome. Everything was red, white and blue and delicious! We had lots of fun lighting little fireworks with the friends and neighbors (Quinn Leavitt-below) and later our half the Village shot off some big ones. It was pretty exciting and was super fun to celebrate with all our friends and neighbors.

The Tingey's

Our good friends the Tingey's that live next to us have a daughter that is Amy's age and they sure love to play. We went down to a river, swam with them, and had a picnic. The kids sure had a blast as well as Chad and Kevin that both got a break from school. Laurie and I both were not near as eager to jump in, but we did play in the sand with Reese and Amy while Laine went in the deep water with the "men." Also Laurie is due with baby Tingey (Logan) soon so I threw a hot air balloon shower for her and with lots of help from friends it turned out pretty sweet :-)

Chad is a Dentist?

Chad got to clean my teeth! I was his first real patient and he was perfect- this is definitely a good career choice for Chad! Go LOVE!
