Oh man.. WHat to say about WA? It was so awesome! We headed up to WA for my brother's wedding on August 1, but got there a week early to just play and celebrate with family. We ended up bringing Erin and Jake with us to Washington because that's where Erin served her mission and she wanted to show Jake and as a bonus they got a free ride. It was super nice to have them around with all the crazy kids running around... they even babysat everybody twice for us (was super nice for me to not have to worry about my kids during the wedding). Before the wedding though we got to go up to Squim and Port Townsend and drive through our favorite drive through zoo and ride a ferry! Laine thought that he was in Heaven as a bunch of cousins and Grandpa and Grandma went through the drive through zoo together. He loved the waving bears.. I do need to mention that while I was taking Chad's picture a cow came through my window and licked my hair- needless to say I screamed and jumped about a mile and had some nasty slime hair. While we were visiting the coast that day Jake proposed to Erin and they are plannning on getting hitched December 21 this year. Weddings.... weddings... Tanner's wedding went really well I thought- and was really pretty. I love my brother and I'm happy for him to start on this next stage of life. Visiting WA was to much fun- I miss it and all the family up there. To bad we live so far away right now to visit any time soon... 27hour drive to Omaha from there.

Everybody is Happy Happy Happy
On our way to WA for my brother's wedding we decided it would be a great idea to stay in Idaho for a week or so and see old friends and family. Kelli was nice enough to let us stay in her basement the whole time even though she was due with baby any day. The little man didn't seem to want to come on time though so they induced her and baby Jack Aaron Bodily came into this world on July 19th with lots of grins and hair. It was so fun to get to be there while all the excitement was happening. The pictures of us at the park are while we are trying to not be in everyone's way- mainly Kelli and Andrew's so they could enjoy their new baby on their own- so we are playing at Smith Park in Rexburg next to the hospital to give them a breather. We did get a chance to see Tanner while in Rexburg before he left home to see his soon to be wifey and saw Hannah and Stuart and... the Toberman clan. We love Sharlee and Josh and Kaylee and new little Paxton and it worked out nice that we got to go to Josh's graduation from BYU-I while we were there. Overall trip to Idaho was super fun and it was great to go back and visit not just people we love, but a place we will always love.
Allergic to Colorado?
For the first part of our summer (after moving our stuff out to Omaha) we got to live with Bart and Leslie in Colorado again while Chad worked as a Dental Assistant for his Dad. It was awesome... we had tons of fun hangout/bothering grandma :-) all day and swimming with James and Anne in the pool while Grandpa and Daddy were at work. Laine even got super lucky and Erin came up for a few days to visit with her boyfriend Jake (Jacob Pfleger) and we got to go to a museum and watch an IMAX movie on Sharks and Laine and Amy both thought that was pretty cool. Also... While in Colorado we decided to make our lives more stressful and buy a van. Yeah it's gold, but it's pretty awesome! We bought it in Colorado Springs though and that was a mistake because in order to get free services done on it we had to keep driving it back and forth and that got old real fast. They other bummer that happened was right when it came time for us to leave town... We found out Laine is Allergic to "Tree Nuts." Some of Chad's siblings are allergic to "tree nuts" (for example- cashews, pistachios, macadamias and a few more strange ones) but neither of us are so that was strange to be sitting in the car shop waiting room down in Colorado Springs and have Laine eat a cashew and start throwing up everywhere and then turning red and swelling everywhere the nut had touched on his little body. It was sad but we took him to the hospital and soon all was well. The drugs they gave him knocked him out for a while and when he came back to he asked us for a chocolate milkshake so we knew all was well. Hopefully we wont have to do that again though... thank goodness for today's medical technology.
