When we get bored in this family we tend to end up at Cabelas. This time we let Laine shoot and he sure enjoyed that. He is always playing with fake/toy/made-up guns and was sure excited his Daddy was gonna actually let him shoot. Amy and I looked at stuffed animals and housing decor while we let the boys, be boys. We will certainly miss how close Cabelas is when we move come May.

Uncle Tanner is Home
Getting ready for Disneyland trip that's coming up! Hooray! Uncle TP (Tanner) is home from his mission in Brazil and we got to see him at the airport via "facetime." He looks great and I'm excited to see him come April in Disneyland with ALL the family. You can't really tell at all in these pictures, but Amy's dress has Minni Mouse on it (got it for her birthday) and Laine's shirt has Mickey. We also decided to weigh and measure them for fun to see what rides they could go on. Come to find out they're not that different. Laine is 37.5in and 31.5lbs... while Amy is 32.5in. and 26lbs. Ps. Picture of me with "Rookie-Magic" was taken for John who has been out on a mission for almost 3 weeks.
Break Party
For the week break Chad had from school we decided to head up to Colorado and visit the Christiansen Folk. It was super fun! We even got to see snow... never thought I'd say those words after living in Rexburg. James and Anne had two snow days while we were there so we go to hang out with them quite a bit. James had a few State Basketball games that we were able to go to, So fun! Bummer they lost that second game though... Amy had her birthday party while there and was so cute as she blabs to people and attempts to walk along holding our hands. She is kind of bossy though and likes to have things her way, but we let her on her birthday and I believe she enjoyed that. We were able to take advantage of free babysitters and got to shoot lots of guns, attend the temple, and go out to dinner. Thanks Christiansen Folk :->
Spring Training
It's super fun being able to live right where all the Spring Training is happening. It only cost us about 10$ for our family to go sit on the lawn and watch the games. This game was the San Diego Padres vs. the good ol' Seattle Mariners. These games are more fun to watch because they are supposed "tryouts" so mistakes are made :-) Mariners didn't play that well, but we stilled cheered for them.
We had a little bit of a scare right before we left to this game though as Laine drank half a bottle of cold medicine... We called Poison Control and they told us to basically keep a good eye on him. At the game he had all sorts of energy and kept wandering off, but when we left on our road trip later I guess in some ways it was kind of nice he was drugged (only can say this now cause he was ok)- he might've been a little more hyper than usual earlier, but slept for many hours while we drove :-)
